This is called an internal review.<\/p>\n<p>An internal review is done by staff at your local Ontario Works office. You can get this form from your local Ontario Works office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you write a letter, you should:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>say \u201cI am requesting an internal review\u201d<\/li>\n<li>explain why you do not agree with the decision that was made (optional)<\/li>\n<li>attach any additional information that you think may help in the review<\/li>\n<li>include your full name and your member ID (this number is at the top of the decision letter)<\/li>\n<li>include your signature and the date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please mail, fax or hand deliver your internal review request to your local Ontario Works office within 30 days of receiving the decision letter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_row_inner et_pb_row_inner_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_3_8 et_pb_column_inner et_pb_column_inner_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h4>Things to keep in mind<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>If you cannot send us your request within 30 days because of reasons beyond your control, we may still do an internal review. Just tell us in your request why you need more time.<\/li>\n<li>Keep a copy of your request \u2013 you will need it later if you appeal the decision to the Social Benefits Tribunal.<\/li>\n<li>If you do not request an internal review or you withdraw your request, the decision will be final and you will not be able to appeal to the Social Benefits Tribunal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_3_8 et_pb_column_inner et_pb_column_inner_2 et-last-child\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_3 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h4>Results of the internal review<\/h4>\n<p>We should give you the results of the internal review within 30 days of receiving your written request.
