The affair was an opportunity for the organization to congratulate and recognize member firms which have operated with an accident frequency and cost rate factor below their group average each year for three consecutive years. Algoma District Paramedic Serviceswas one of only three ambulance services in the province to receive the 2003 Achievement Award, which was accepted on behalf of the service by Mr. Ron Hamelin,Algoma District Paramedic Services Operations Supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlgoma District Paramedic Services is pleased to receive this prestigious award and we would like to offer our congratulations to both the Muskoka and Dufferin County ambulance services as fellow recipients\u201d, said Paul Guertin, Algoma District Paramedic Services Public Information Officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud of our staff and their clear dedication to safety. Although this award is presented to firms for having an injury-related accident frequency lower than the group average, Algoma District Paramedic Services has not had even a single injury-related accident since its inception in January of 2001.
