To help minimize the spread of COVID-19 and to help protect the public and staff, access will be restricted in all ADSAB Offices.

We will continue to provide Emergency Assistance, Ontario Works, Housing Services and Children’s Services by phone, email or fax. To access or apply for any of our services or to send documents, you can email clientsupport@adsab.on.ca

You can call the local ADSAB office and a worker will assist you.

Algoma District Services Administration Board (ADSAB) delivers and/or provides oversight of vital social and paramedic services to the communities within the ADSAB jurisdiction.  ADSAB seeks to enhance the quality of life, health and well-being of families living in our communities.

ADSAB supports people and our communities through the delivery of quality social and paramedic services including:  Child Care, Housing, Ontario Works and Paramedic (Emergency Medical) Services.

an affordable place to live

ADSAB offers a range of affordable housing options and rent subsidy programs to provide a safe and affordable place to live or assist with the cost of rent

financial help

ADSAB may be able to provide financial assistance to assist with food, clothing, shelter, health or other financial emergencies

help with child care costs

ADSAB may be able to provide child care fee subsidy for eligible children to qualifying families to assist with the cost of child care

ADSAB (Algoma District Paramedic Services) Response Time Performance Plan as mandated by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Emergency Health Services Branch

help with disconnection/ eviction notice

ADSAB may be able to provide financial assistance towards the cost of electricity or rental arrears to avoid disconnection of service or eviction

help with paying rent

ADSAB offers a range of rent subsidy programs to assist with the cost of rent and/or the rental arrears
