Ninth Annual Salute to Emergency Providers Day

Thessalon, ON – 2004-08-12, 1500 hrs

Algoma District Paramedic Services would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the 9 th Annual Salute to Emergency Providers Day being held in Blind River this Saturday, August 14, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Blind River Marine Park.

This event is an excellent opportunity for the public to meet emergency service providers and get an up-close look at emergency equipment and vehicles. In addition to Algoma District Paramedic Services, there are numerous participants in this year’s event including local Fire and Police, Canada Coast Guard, Michigan State Police, Canada Customs, Search and Rescue and Department of National Defense.

This year’s featured service is Health Care Workers and the special guest will be a Canadian Army Field Hospital.

Admission to this fun-filled event is free so please come out and enjoy all the displays and activities.
